About this GPA Calculator

The GPA Calculator converts letter grades to grade points on a standard 4.0 scale and weights them by credit hours to find an overall grade point average. Enter one course per line to calculate a semester or cumulative GPA.

How the calculation works

GPA equals the sum of each course grade point multiplied by its credit hours, divided by the total credit hours. Standard grade points used: A=4.0, A-=3.7, B+=3.3, B=3.0, B-=2.7, C+=2.3, C=2.0, C-=1.7, D+=1.3, D=1.0, F=0.

How to use it
